This is definitely a little gem and I highly recommend it. She has so many thoughtful details throughout the room in the common spaces. It was very comfortable, very lovely, and I highly recommend the breakfast. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

"Wonderful Location"
Really enjoyed our stay. A WONDERFUL location to do lots of things on the north side of Anchorage / from the Wasila area. We ice climbed at Matanuska Glacier (highly recommend MICA Guides), Iditarod Headquraters, Reindeer Farm, Riley Lake's hike in Hatcher Pass, and even drove to Seward for a boat trip (but that's a killer drive for a day) and of course with a stop on the way home at the Double Musky for dinner in Girdwood. Overall - would highly recommend. Super clean. Great communication. Delicious breakfasts. All the space and comfort we needed for our family. Enjoyed the dock, renting the kayaks, playing games on the lawn, and the many games Susan had we could use too.

"A Place for Peace, Quiet and rejuvenation..."
Susan’s home is just amazing. She has a great eye for decorating and her home is beautiful. It’s such a relaxing, comfortable bed and breakfast. Don’t just stay one night. It’s a place for peace, quiet and rejuvenation. Food was great, bedrooms and bath also.

Every single amenity you can imagine was provided or available (fishing poles, kayaks, life jackets). Susan is exceptional. Susie has such a beautiful place on Lake Seymour (which we hear is great for fishing all year round -though we are not fishers). The breakfasts were absolutely beautiful to look at and even more delicious to eat! Susie really cares about presentation! The lake was a perfect spot to unwind in the “midnight sun” of summer. We rented the kayaks (definitely recommend doing this!) and had a blast - even came across a loony loon! Beautiful photo opportunities are everywhere in Alaska. Perfect central location to many locations. This house (and host!) is a true gem!

We wish we could've stayed longer! If you're looking for a nice relaxing getaway this is absolutely the place. The breakfast was incredible, Susan was wonderful to talk with, and the location is breathtaking. Next time we are in the area there is no doubt we will be staying here again if it's not already booked

Susie is an amazing hostess, she is warm and welcoming and goes the extra mile, she went out of her way to offer me dinner. The B&B is absolutely gorgeous, inviting and welcoming, when you walk in you feel like you have come home. The room was stunning, along with the views, I can not praise it enough or Susie enough, I feel like I have made a best friend. There is ice fishing just feet from the back deck, and in winter this is a stunning place to be. I was blessed to have stayed in this amazing home, and will absolutely recommend it to all my friends.

So when you come to Alaska this is the place to find and stay.. (more than one day)

Amazing stay at his truly special residence. Susan, your hostess, made his part of our journey remarkable. Situated in the woods on a lake, the proximity to a variety of destinations worked perfectly for our agenda. Denali a few hours north and Anchorage only an hour to the south made this location a perfect midpoint stop. Given this was our first time at an Airbnb, the bar is set high. We can only hope our future stays even come close to this wonderful experience. Cheers!
