The Space
Book one to four bedrooms in this cozy two-story home converted to a Bed & Breakfast where your hostess lives and gives special attention to your needs. Your private rooms are on the second level and a shared quaint third upper-level visiting room is complete with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, dishes, cutlery, games, and picnic table.
Downstairs is a common space which includes a half bath, living room, kitchen, and dining area. Outdoors there is a large deck, large dock, front yard, lawn, fire pit, BBQ, a beautiful garden, and of course, the lake! We will also have a canoe, life jackets, and fishing poles available.
Your hostess has a private area downstairs and will be available to you as you need.
The Great Outdoors
Enjoy great views year round. During summer expect to see a variety of water fowl, including loons, grebes and eagles. You may see a moose and her calf tromping through the woods or with great luck… cooling themselves in the lake.
Watch a rainbow trout jumping or being caught by fishing enthusiast. Seymour Lake is the best rainbow trout fishing lake known for its trophy-sized catches. Try your hand at catching your own.
The golden and red colors of fall are stunning as are the snowy winter scenes. Ice fishing is very popular right in front of the property. You never know, you may even catch a view of the Northern Lights.
The Breakfast
Wake up to the sound of loons, a cup of coffee, and being served a hot Alaskan breakfast. If you like something a little extra special. This is the spot!
Hot breakfast or continental included, served anywhere from 8:30-10:00 AM. Make a reservation for your preferred time. Also available is to request a continental self-serve or to-go breakfast if you need an earlier time.
When available, your breakfast will include Alaska wild blueberries your hostess harvested from Hatchers Pass, native farm-grown raspberries, or low bush cranberries growing wild in the yard.
Let your hostess know if you are gluten, dairy, or pork-free and she will do her best to accommodate you or other dietary requests.
